Hell's Angel: The Life and Times of Sonny Barger and the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club

By Ralph "Sonny" Barger with Keith and Kent Zimmerman

This is the first of two books that Mr. Barger has written about his life as a Hell's Angel. The Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC) is infamous - with chapters all over the world. The name evokes a myriad of opinions from law enforcement, the public and motorcycle enthusiasts alike and of course not all of it positive.

Mr Barger recounts his childhood and the events that led up to the formation of the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club. It is an interesting journey, never boring and frequently dangerous. Although founded in the late 1950's, it was the sixties that propelled the Hell's Angels MC into the public's eye.

As we all know, the 1960's were a time of tremendous change in American culture brought about by the revolution that took place among the youth...a time of Sex, drugs, rock n' roll and rebellion. The Hell's Angels MC had all of that.

It is an interesting read. As you explore the pages, you will find that Mr Barger seemed destined to be the catalyst to take the motorcycle from military service to the American streets.
