Event Schedule

Road Captain Laura Sisto is coordinating our summer rides already.  She's checking the list twice - a dozen times is more like it - for the AMA's Women and Motorcycling Conference in West Virginia, June 29 to July 3, 2002.  Laura will lead our ride.  Yours truly will coordinate and lead the group that leaves on June 20th for Mid Atlantic Women's Motorcycle Rally's 10th Anniversary celebration in Ocean City, MD.  We'll return on June 23rd.  Judy will lead her "Autumn in VT" trip, Thursday, August 22, to Sunday, August 25, 2002.  The riding season will be off to a super start with Janet and Bill Britland leading the way to the Spoke-Women's Wildwood Weekend, Friday, May 31, to Sunday, June 2, 2002.

Americade, Lake George, NY, June 3-9, is always a favorite.  Several members have their rooms booked.  But if you should decide to come up that week some motels actually sprout vacancy signs then.  The rooming groups have made their plans.  Riding groups will be established closer to June.  Yours truly will ride up Monday and return Friday.  Laura Sisto plans on going up a little later in the week and saying later.  Jane and Walt Kern stay all week.  Honda Hoot will be in Knoxville, TN, June 19-22.  If anyone is interested in coordinating the ride start your e-mails.

The next meetings are scheduled for 6/16 (because of Americade), 7/14 (Quarry), 8/11, 9/8, 10/13, 11/10 and 12/8 (Holiday Party). The meetings begin at 10:00 a.m. for October and November and January to April. The meetings from May to September will begin at 9:00 a.m. so we can ride. We will have our Experienced Rider Course ("ERC") on a Saturday of your choice in the Spring at Sea Girt.  The time and place for the December 8 meeting, installation of officers and Holiday Party will be determined in the fall.   Meetings are held at the American Legion in Piscataway on the corner of Washington Avenue and Summers Street. July's meeting is scheduled for the Quarry, weather permitting.  (We were rained out two months in a row last summer.
